Responsible gaming
WINPOT is actively committed to Responsible Gaming and the prevention of pathological gambling or gambling addiction. The website www.winpot.mx is designed to be an open and interactive space for entertainment and responsible fun in games of chance and number or symbol draws. Our guiding principle is to approach gaming from a holistic health perspective, ensuring a safe and healthy environment, free from harmful and compulsive behaviors that could turn leisure into gambling-related problems with negative consequences for players' well-being.
Gaming is an inherent human activity. Everyone plays as a mechanism for learning and reinforcing social and beneficial behaviors that contribute to personal growth. It is important to distinguish between gaming as a learning tool and gambling as an independent entity, which carries additional aspects such as illusion, competitiveness, and fantasy.
From this perspective, as a socially responsible company, our primary objective is to continuously engage in preventative measures at different levels:
- Primary Prevention: Targeted at all website users, this involves promoting healthy gaming habits, spreading awareness about responsible gaming, and implementing controls over gaming activities.
- Secondary Prevention: Aimed at early detection and appropriate referral of individuals experiencing gambling problems, ensuring they are informed of available treatment options.
ACTIONS FOR RESPONSIBLE GAMING
- Plan gaming sessions in an informed and recreational manner, understanding the consequences of gambling. Provide clear information about the various games, winning probabilities, and consequences of losing, not only financially but also in terms of healthy habits.
- Implement clear measures to reduce the incidence of gambling addiction and provide information on help centers and treatment programs for gambling-related issues.
- Ensure consumer protection by offering self-exclusion options, temporary exclusions, reflection periods, and various limit-setting features.
- Provide information about the industry, regulations, current measures, and regulatory changes to help users understand where they are playing and what safeguards are in place.
In line with our commitment to Responsible Gaming, we offer you access to the gambling addiction test published by the General Directorate of Games and Raffles:
